Miami Ad Agency Cements Its Status Among Nation's Healthcare Experts

The Weinbach Group, a healthcare marketing firm that works with clients throughout the U.S. announced it won another 13 Healthcare Advertising Awards, adding to the Miami ad agency's winning streak and building on its collection of more than 100 awards from the nation's largest healthcare advertising and marketing contest. Run annually by Healthcare Marketing Report, this year's competition attracted more entries than any year since the contest began in the 1980s. From among the crowded field, The Weinbach Group won six gold awards, the most gold awards of any agency in South Florida and the second highest haul of gold among all agencies in the Southeastern United States.

The Weinbach Group's awards represent work in a wide range of categories from digital advertising and social media content to website development and conventional direct mail. The healthcare advertising agency submitted entries for both business-to-business enterprises it serves, as well as patient-facing clients, including Mount Sinai Medical Center, the largest independent not-for-profit health system in South Florida. On behalf of Mount Sinai, The Weinbach Group won a gold award for the health system's website refresh, which included hundreds of pages of new text.

"When you're doing a site overhaul for an organization as large and complex as Mount Sinai, you want a content development partner that understands healthcare," said Jackie Kaplan, vice president of marketing for Mount Sinai. "The Weinbach Group not only understands our mission to serve the community, but their team was able to elicit valuable clinical information from our physicians to create content that differentiates our health system from the competition. It's been a great collaboration, as demonstrated by this recognition from the Healthcare Advertising Awards."

A panel of healthcare industry experts judged more than 4,000 entries from across the globe on criteria such as message effectiveness, graphic design, and overall impact. Agencies and healthcare enterprises submitted individual entries, healthcare public relations programs, as well as overall campaigns, for which The Weinbach Group also won a gold on behalf of its client, HealthLink Dimensions, which has the largest audited database of provider data in the nation.
